Master's Degree

Master's Degree is a Masters program taught at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

Shanghai Jiao Tong University offers a Master’s Degree as part of its international graduate programs. Students complete academic requirements and a thesis defense, and they receive graduation and degree certificates when they meet professional standards. Master’s degree programs are available across multiple disciplines within the university’s graduate education system.

Admission involves an online application. Applicants prepare degree certificates, transcripts, proof of language proficiency, a passport copy, an ID photo, a personal statement and study plan, two letters of academic recommendation, and (for specific schools/programs) a supervisor acceptance letter. The university also requires that admitted students obtain the required degree accreditation/evaluation before online registration.

The minimum requirements for admission in Master's Degree at Shanghai Jiao Tong University for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Shanghai Jiao Tong University as pre-requiste for admission in Master's Degree.

Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens with a valid private ordinary passport.

• Applicants should be in good physical and mental health, and meet the medical examination requirements of both the country and the university.
• Applicants should not have criminal record and maintain a friendly attitude towards China.
• Applicants must be well-behaved and willing to comply with Chinese laws and regulations, as well as the rules of SJTU.
• Master’s degree program applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree (or above) accepted in China.
• The applicant’s Chinese or English proficiency must satisfy the relevant requirements specified in the Language Requirement for SJTU International Graduate Programs.
