This Bachelor of Engineering in Process Engineering is a four-year degree in Textile and Material Engineering at Tampere University of Applied Sciences. Students also study value chains in the global textile industry and sustainability challenges in global business.

The degree is taught in English and uses contact teaching. It includes theoretical learning, project-based work, laboratory exercises, practical assignments, and collaboration with industry. The programme is organised into Basic and Professional Studies, Practical Training, a Bachelor’s Thesis, and Elective Studies. Some studies can be completed abroad at partner universities, and practical training can be done anywhere in the world that fits a student’s international career plans.

Tampere University of Applied Sciences says the programme provides working life skills for careers in the textile business. It prepares students for roles in purchasing, marketing, development and production, and for work in industry, business, or public organisations.
