Introduction

Cursus Ingénieur is a Bachelor program taught at AgroParisTech, France. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

The Cursus Ingénieur at AgroParisTech prepares students to become an engineering graduate focused on living systems and the environment. The training covers agriculture, food, forests, water, the environment, health, and territories. It uses a multidisciplinary approach to analyze complex, changing systems, supported by a system-based and cross-cutting perspective.

Students develop skills in at least one of four thematic areas: productions, sectors and territories for sustainable development; food, biomolecules and energy engineering; environmental management and engineering; and engineering and health for humans, bioproducts and the environment. The curriculum includes early exposure to professional realities, work connected with research, and innovation-focused spaces called InnLabs.

The program includes international experience within the curriculum, with choice of the start semester and whether the experience is an academic semester or a placement. It also includes an “allongé” placement for the first-year engineering stage and changes to the structure and pacing of the academic year and learning alternation.
