Filière Data Science
Introduction
Filière Data Science is a Bachelor program taught at Ecole Française d'Electronique et d'Informatique, France. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.
The Data Science track is an engineering pathway that trains students to analyze, structure, and add value to data. It combines mathematics, computer science, and strategy, and includes a Data & Artificial Intelligence specialization focused on designing, piloting, and deploying solutions using massive data. The specialization emphasizes Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and generative AI, and also includes ethical and regulatory dimensions.
Learning is supported by project-based teaching. In the second and third years of the engineering cycle (ING2 and ING3), students complete two cross-cutting projects that connect theory and practice. Teaching uses interactive lectures, practical work, tutorials, and projects, with 80% delivered in person. Certification for the engineering title requires validation of competence blocks and diploma conditions, including professional immersion (stage or alternance), an English level requirement set by an independent test, a minimum B2 French level for international students, and two international mobilities.
