Ingénieurs de la statistique, de l'économie et de la donnée (Insed, formerly administrators of Insee) is an engineering program for future senior executives of the Institut National de la Statistique et des Études économiques. It provides multidisciplinary training in social sciences and applied mathematics, linked to the missions of the institute, which combine economic studies and statistical production.

Students train through the ENSAE Paris engineering cycle. Insed students follow the same overall training structure as other ENSAE Paris students, while also meeting additional course-choice rules. They must take an elective course in the second year, a set of semi-compulsory courses in the third year, professional seminars organized by the institute, and a common teaching unit for all senior French civil servants, including Socle commun méthodologique: Sondages.

The minimum requirements for admission in Ingénieurs de la statistique, de l'économie et de la donnée at Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l'Administration Economique for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l'Administration Economique.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l'Administration Economique as pre-requiste for admission in Ingénieurs de la statistique, de l'économie et de la donnée.

L’ENSAE Paris assures initial training for Insed, whether they come from École polytechnique, Écoles Normales Supérieures, the external competitive exam, or the internal competitive exam.

Insed are admitted in 2e année or in 3e année on decision of the director of studies, based on their prior background and provided they are not already graduated from the cycle ingénieur of ENSAE Paris.

All winners who are not already graduates of the engineering cycle of ENSAE Paris must complete their training at the school.
