Master Science des données pour la Décision Publique
Introduction
Master Science des données pour la Décision Publique is a Masters program taught at Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l'Analyse de l'information, France. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
The Master Science des données pour la Décision Publique is a track within the Master Mathématiques appliquées, Statistique, co-accredited with the Université de Rennes. It trains experts in public statistics and decision support. The teaching combines advanced statistics, applied mathematics, economics, econometrics, and computer science, with theory illustrated through examples and applied case work.
The program includes three major areas: Études statistiques (ES), Méthodologie de la statistique publique (MSP), and Statistique et traitement des données (STD). Professional practice is a core feature, with group work and personal work submitted as dossiers. Many courses are delivered by actors from the public statistical system. Students also complete a work placement and a master’s thesis linked to that placement, with an oral defense.
Admission is open to students who have completed the first year of the master and to graduates at equivalent level. The selection process uses a review of the application file and an interview. The master is also available through continuing education and to exchange students from Erasmus.
