PhD Track
Introduction
PhD Track is a PhD program taught at PSL University, France. Intake: September. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (5 yrs) options.
PSL PhD tracks are 5-year fully funded programs intended for high-potential students who aim to become top-level researchers. Students study a Master’s-Doctorate curriculum across a single track, with research starting in Master’s year 1. Options include PhD track in Chemistry, PhD track in Life sciences, PhD track in Astrophysics, and PhD track in Computer science. Teaching is 100% in English.
During the first two years, students are supported through a Master’s program. They work under an academic tutor, who helps them develop their scientific project and acquire tools for an ambitious research endeavor. After completing the Master’s, a doctoral dissertation project is approved through a qualifying exam, then students proceed directly to the doctoral studies. The next three years focus entirely on the research project and culminate in a PhD degree awarded by Université PSL.
