M1 Biomass Engineering for Bioeconomy is a Masters program taught at Université Paris-Saclay, France. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
The M1 Biomass Engineering for Bioeconomy is a Master 1 programme within the Bioceb European Master in Biological and Chemical Engineering for a Sustainable Bioeconomy. It trains students in double chemistry-biology competences, including green chemistry principles and plant science, plus process and materials engineering applied to biomass production and conversion into bio-based products and energy.
The programme is organised around an academic programme with lectures and practice, a green-line multidisciplinary project carried out over the 2 years, and an internship. It follows a semester structure with a joint first semester (S1), cross-cutting approaches in the second semester (S2), specialisation in biomass engineering in the third semester (S3), and an R&D internship in the fourth semester (S4). The M1 Biomass Engineering for Bioeconomy is delivered by Université Paris Saclay and operated by AgroParisTech.
