M1 QUAntum Research Master Education Network – ERASMUS MUNDUS QUARMEN is a Masters program taught at Université Paris-Saclay, France. Intake: beginning of september. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (two-year) options.
QUARMEN (QUAntum Research Master Education Network) is a two-year international master’s programme in physics, specialized in Quantum Science and Technology. Students are trained in key concepts and technologies for quantum devices and information. The programme includes compulsory mobility across at least two countries and supports development of skills in specialized areas in the second year, including quantum photonics, quantum materials, nanoscience, cryptography, quantum control, and cold atoms.
Instruction is in English. Students take a structured sequence of study periods and complete a project and supervised studies. Semester options include Sapienza University of Rome and University of Porto or Université Paris-Saclay, and also University of Toronto or Université Paris-Saclay. The training includes a winter school on science management and entrepreneurship and a summer school on topics in Quantum Science and Technology. It also includes a 6-month internship in academia at partner universities or private companies.

Applicants should have or should be in process to get a Bachelor degree (180 ECTS or equivalent) in Physics or related topics (Engineering, Computer Science, etc.).

All documents translated to English must come with a copy of the original document. Original transcripts of records and degree certificates in French, Italian and Portuguese can be accepted.
