M2 Systems Neuroscience: from cells to brain functions is a Masters program taught at Université Paris-Saclay, France. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
The M2 Systems Neuroscience: from cells to brain functions is a master’s specialisation in neuroscience. It studies how neurons process signals and interact within circuits to produce perception, cognition, and actions. Students explore neuronal mechanisms behind animal behavior and study them across different levels, from cell neurophysiology to neuroethology in complex, real-world situations.
The program has a first semester of core teaching units and elective units, followed by a research internship. Six core units are required: Plasticity, Learnings and Memories, Sensory Systems and Perception, Motor Systems and Actions, Neuroethology, Glia in Brain Health and Disease, and Methods in Systems Neuroscience. Students then complete a 6-month neuroscience research internship with a written report and an oral defense.
The minimum requirements for admission in M2 Systems Neuroscience: from cells to brain functions at Université Paris-Saclay for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:
