Introduction

M2 Genomics Informatics Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence for Health and Environment (GENIOMHE) is a Masters program taught at Université Paris-Saclay, France. Intake: September. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The GENIOMHE-AI master’s degree at Université Paris-Saclay trains specialists in research and development in bioinformatics for genomics and precision medicine. Students study algorithmics, programming languages, and techniques in data science, artificial intelligence, statistics, and databases for analyzing massive data. The skills covered include genomics and human genetics, genomic data analysis, bioinformatics tools and phylogenetics, databases, machine learning and data mining, deep learning, and multivariate statistics.

Teaching is full-time and academic. The program runs from September to March. A mandatory two-month internship takes place from April onwards in an academic research laboratory or a company. Students also complete projects, are introduced to FAIR principles, and complete two mandatory opening modules: one on sustainable development and one chosen from a list.

Modules

  • Methods for Genomics 1
  • Bioinformatic tools
