M2 Nuclear Engineering is a Masters program taught at Université Paris-Saclay, France. Intake: September. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
M2 Nuclear Engineering is a Master’s degree specialisation in Nuclear Energy at Université Paris-Saclay. It prepares students to become engineers and researchers to address challenges across operation, safety, design, decommissioning, and the future of civil nuclear facilities, including low-carbon electricity production and waste management. The program includes five specialisations: Fuel Cycle, Decommissioning and Waste Management, Operation, Nuclear Plant Design, and Nuclear Reactor Physics and Engineering.
The structure is progressive within a two-year program: M1 has two tracks (Physics and Chemistry) and M2 builds on them through the five civil nuclear energy specialisations. The program is a full-time academic programme fully taught in English. Students develop skills to analyse complex problems, master key nuclear energy disciplines for industrial application, apply safety culture principles, and work in teams with professionals from diverse cultural, scientific, and technical backgrounds.
