Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management

Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management is a Diploma program taught at University of the Gambia, Gambia. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (1 year) options.

The Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management focuses on supervisory, decision-making, and leadership skills in the hospitality and tourism sectors. It develops independent research and study skills necessary for supervisory or middle management roles. The course serves either as preparation for employment or as a step towards a university degree.

The minimum requirements for admission in Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management at University of the Gambia for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by University of the Gambia.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by University of the Gambia as pre-requiste for admission in Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management.

A minimum of 3 credits including English and a pass in Mathematics, or a certificate in tourism or hotel management, or at least five years’ work experience in the field. To continue to BSc, students need 5 credits including English and Mathematics or 3 credits including either for mature students, with a minimum grade B for advance standing.
