Diploma in Different Disciplines

Diploma in Different Disciplines is a Diploma program taught at University of the Gambia, Gambia. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (2 years) options.

This diploma program at the University of the Gambia offers technician training in Pharmacy, Laboratory Science, Physiotherapy, and Radiography (X-Ray). The program is a two-year course conducted within the School of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences. It is designed for students who meet specific academic or professional prerequisites and prepares them for technical roles in health sciences disciplines.

The minimum requirements for admission in Diploma in Different Disciplines at University of the Gambia for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by University of the Gambia.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by University of the Gambia as pre-requiste for admission in Diploma in Different Disciplines.

• Senior Secondary School Leaving Certificate (grade 12) with four credits including English Language, Mathematics, and at least 2 science subjects (Biology, Health Science, Chemistry, or Physics) in not more than two sittings
• Or an assistant certificate in any of the disciplines, Public Health or Nursing certificates or its equivalent with more than one year of work experience
• Non-English speaking ECOWAS applicants require equivalent qualifications
• International applicants whose primary instruction language is not English must provide an internationally recognized English language proficiency certificate
• Shortlisted candidates undergo interview, health checks, and criminal records clearance

International applicants whose primary medium of instruction is not English must offer an internationally recognized English language proficiency certificate
