Graduate Diploma in Nursing

Graduate Diploma in Nursing is a Masters program taught at University of the Gambia, Gambia. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (18 months) options.

The Graduate Diploma in Nursing at the University of the Gambia offers two postgraduate diploma programs: Nurse-Anesthesia and Peri-Operative Nursing. Both programs last 18 months. The courses are designed for candidates with a nursing degree and involve advanced study in the specialized fields of anesthesia nursing and peri-operative nursing. Applications are submitted online with supporting documents including transcripts and references.

The minimum requirements for admission in Graduate Diploma in Nursing at University of the Gambia for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by University of the Gambia.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by University of the Gambia as pre-requiste for admission in Graduate Diploma in Nursing.

• General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level or West African Senior School Certificate with credits in English language, Mathematics, and at least two Science subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Further Mathematics or Sciences
• BSc. in Nursing or equivalent from a recognized institute
