Master's in Advanced Practice in Healthcare
Introduction
Advanced Practice in Healthcare is a Masters program taught at Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg Center for Advanced Studies (CAS), Germany. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (1–2 years) options.
Duale Masterstudiengang Advanced Practice in Healthcare (APH) combines scientific teaching with practice-based learning at the workplace. In interprofessional basic modules, you build practical knowledge, interdisciplinary expertise, and the ability to transfer evidence-informed approaches into direct clinical or municipal healthcare, management, or vocational education in healthcare. You also develop competences in research, evaluation, and leadership to identify optimization potential and shape change processes and knowledge transfer.
The programme is structured around compulsory modules and an elective module selection that you choose according to your prior knowledge and career goals. You remain in your job throughout study and apply everyday work challenges in your studies, reflect them using theories, and review them again in practice.
The DHBW CAS uses all nine locations and three campuses for teaching; exam dates are about two hours and are possible at almost all locations. You can extend the programme up to ten semesters.
