Introduction

Master of Science is a Masters program taught at Pädagogische Hochschule Weingarten, Germany. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 semesters) options.

The Pädagogische Hochschule Weingarten offers a consecutive Joint Degree Master’s program in Logopädie (Master of Science) together with Hochschule für Logopädie Ostschweiz. The program focuses on qualitative and quantitative research methods, further training in teaching (on a university level), and a specialization in an individually chosen logopaedic task area, such as in early childhood education, school, special education, or the clinical area.

The Regelstudienzeit is 4 semesters, and the total is 120 ECTS. The curriculum includes a Praxissemester in the third semester with a Begleitseminar zum Praxissemester (Prax 1) worth 2 ECTS and a Practicum in research or teaching (Prax 2) worth 28 ECTS. Students complete a presentation in the Begleitseminar and provide a written report for confirmation from practice personnel at the placement site.
