Master of Science Msc
Introduction
Master of Science Msc is a Masters program taught at Technische Universität München, Germany. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 semesters) options.
The Technische Universität München offers the Elite-Master AI in Biomedicine (M.Sc.). The research-oriented programme is positioned at the interface of computer science, engineering, and medicine. It trains students to analyse complex medical data with advanced AI technologies and to bring results into clinically relevant applications, including interpretable AI models for clinical decision support, integration of multimodal patient data, and bias avoidance in diagnosis.
AI in Biomedicine (M.Sc.) is delivered full-time over 4 semesters and awards 120 ECTS. The curriculum is built on three curricular pillars: “Foundations of AI”, “Applications of AI in Biomedicine and Healthcare”, and “Cross-cutting Theme”. Students can specialise in “Advanced Machine Learning”, “Drug Discovery and Computational Biology”, “Subject Imaging and Sensing”, or “Natural Language Processing and Speech”, while continuously reflecting on ethical, legal, and societal implications of AI use in healthcare.
Graduates from AI in Biomedicine (M.Sc.) are prepared for scientific careers and for responsible roles in research and development in the pharmaceutical, medical technology, or tech industry, as well as in strategic consulting and innovation management, and in biomedical and AI start-ups.
