MSC in Intelligent Robotics Engineering

MSC in Intelligent Robotics Engineering is a Masters program taught at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong. Intake: September. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The Master of Science in Intelligent Robotics Engineering at Hong Kong Polytechnic University provides advanced study in embodied AI, robot mechanisms, robot motion planning, and soft robotics. The programme includes taught coursework and options that can culminate in a dissertation through either a coursework route or a dissertation route.

Study is offered in full-time or part-time study modes. In general, each subject involves a 3-hour class per week over a 13-week semester. Students complete a compulsory 1-credit subject, “EEE5T03 Engineering Ethics and Academic Integrity”. International students must maintain full-time status as per visa regulations.

The minimum requirements for admission in MSC in Intelligent Robotics Engineering at Hong Kong Polytechnic University for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Hong Kong Polytechnic University as pre-requiste for admission in MSC in Intelligent Robotics Engineering.

A Bachelor's degree with Honours in a relevant branch of engineering, or a related science discipline;

OR

Relevant professional qualifications or equivalent

Consideration will also be given to candidates without Honours degrees who have other relevant qualifications and/or appropriate work experience.

If you are not a native speaker of English, and your Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is awarded by institutions where the medium of instruction is not English, you are expected to fulfil the University’s minimum English language requirement for admission purpose. Individual cases will be considered on their own merit. Applicants may be required to attend interviews or tests to further demonstrate their language proficiency.
