MSC in Geomatics

MSC in Geomatics is a Masters program taught at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong. Intake: January. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The Master of Science in Geomatics at Hong Kong Polytechnic University is designed for professionals in geographic information systems (GIS), surveying, or related fields. It provides theoretical understanding and practical skills to specialise in GIS or land and engineering surveying. The programme is described as multidisciplinary, advancing knowledge in chosen specialist areas and expanding perspectives on geomatics.

Students can study in full-time or part-time mode. Full-time study requires attending classes in the daytime and in the evening. The programme uses mixed mode study, with credit requirements set at 31 for graduation, including a note that 30 normal study credits plus 1 tuition-free credit are required to fulfil the Academic Integrity and Ethics Requirement.

The minimum requirements for admission in MSC in Geomatics at Hong Kong Polytechnic University for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Hong Kong Polytechnic University as pre-requiste for admission in MSC in Geomatics.
