BSC in Data Science

BSC in Data Science is a Bachelor program taught at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong. Intake: September. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (2 years) options.

The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Data Science and Analytics at Hong Kong Polytechnic University focuses on turning large-scale data into intelligence. Students build expertise across mathematics, statistics, and computer science, with emphasis on the pathway from data to information, information to knowledge, and knowledge to decision making.

The programme is an articulation programme aimed at acquiring analytical skills based on mathematics, statistics, and computing, and applying them to managing and analysing data. It also targets discovery of lawfulness from very large data sets or systems, referred to as Big Data. Work-Integrated Education includes 2 training credits as part of the graduation credits.

The minimum requirements for admission in BSC in Data Science at Hong Kong Polytechnic University for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Hong Kong Polytechnic University as pre-requiste for admission in BSC in Data Science.
