BSC Scheme in Data Science

BSC Scheme in Data Science is a Bachelor program taught at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years (including 1 year with common curriculum)) options.

Hong Kong Polytechnic University offers a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Scheme in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. The four-year full-time scheme provides training in mathematical, statistical, and computer-programming skills. It covers key areas including artificial intelligence, data science and analytics, and applications in finance and other domains.

The scheme runs with a normal duration of 4 years, including 1 year with common curriculum. Students follow pathways across the scheme’s three undergraduate major programmes: BSc (Hons) in Artificial Intelligence, BSc (Hons) in Artificial Intelligence with Financial Technology, and BSc (Hons) in Data Science and Analytics. Graduation requires at least 120 credits (plus 2 training credits). Students may also choose a Secondary Major in Innovation and Entrepreneurship or pursue a Double Major, both with competitive admission and different graduation credit requirements.
