PhD in Business and Management

PhD in Business and Management is a PhD program taught at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary. Intake: September. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (8 semesters) options.

The PhD in Business and Management at Budapest University of Technology and Economics is part of the Doctoral School of Business and Management. Students train and guide their research on economic, technical, and socio-scientific aspects of economic activities. The focus includes production management, marketing management, organizational sciences, international economics, quality management, accounting and finance, and regional and environmental economics.

The programme runs over 8 semesters. It includes guided research with a supervisor, research work that includes publication in peer reviewed international journals, and presentation of results at international conferences. It also includes midterm evaluation and a comprehensive examination, followed by public thesis defence. Students take advanced courses, advanced seminars in management and economics, optional specialization courses, and workshops/summer school possibilities.

The minimum requirements for admission in PhD in Business and Management at Budapest University of Technology and Economics for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Budapest University of Technology and Economics as pre-requiste for admission in PhD in Business and Management.
