The course is delivered On Campus and includes practical training through field work. It includes Residential field trip in Year 3, and in Year 4 it includes Advanced field skills (residential field trip) and Oceanographic fieldskills (ship time on research vessel). Year 4 also includes an Advanced research project, incorporating scientific literature review, alongside modules such as Global change and Hydrogeology.
