Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences

Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences is a Bachelor program taught at University of Technology Jamaica, Jamaica. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (3 years) options.

The Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences is an undergraduate programme delivered in person at the Papine Campus of the University of Technology Jamaica. It spans three years. The programme is designed for graduates holding a Health Science Diploma, ASc in Health Information Technology, or equivalent qualifications with work experience. It includes options such as Health Services Administration, particularly for those with a background in General Business Education.

The minimum requirements for admission in Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences at University of Technology Jamaica for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by University of Technology Jamaica.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by University of Technology Jamaica as pre-requiste for admission in Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences.

Graduates holding a Health Science Diploma, ASc in Health Information Technology, or equivalent level training plus three years work experience. Applicants with diploma or equivalent academic certification in General Business Education considered for Health Services Administration option. Candidates over 28 years without diploma but with acceptable health discipline qualification require minimum five years professional experience. Pre-acceptance evaluation test may be administered.
