Bachelor of Science in Midwifery Registered Midwife is a Bachelor program taught at University of Technology Jamaica, Jamaica. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (2 years full-time) options.

The Bachelor of Science in Midwifery (Registered Midwife) is a 2-year full-time undergraduate program at the University of Technology, Jamaica. It prepares students to become registered Midwives by providing knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for midwifery care. The program includes 27 modules over 4 semesters and 2 summer sessions.

The program has two main teaching components: Instructive Teaching Sessions, which cover classroom, clinical visits, and skills labs, and Experiential Learning, involving clinical sessions in hospitals and health centers. The curriculum consists of General Education Courses and Midwifery Specific Courses to build foundational and specialized skills.

The minimum requirements for admission in Bachelor of Science in Midwifery Registered Midwife at University of Technology Jamaica for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by University of Technology Jamaica.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by University of Technology Jamaica as pre-requiste for admission in Bachelor of Science in Midwifery Registered Midwife.

Registered Midwives who have completed an accredited midwifery program with a Certificate, Diploma, or Associate Degree in midwifery; registered midwives with current license in their country; submission of a compiled portfolio of clinical practice hours; successful interview.
