Graduate Diploma in Education

Graduate Diploma in Education is a Masters program taught at University of Technology Jamaica, Jamaica. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (2 years) options.

The Graduate Diploma in Education at University of Technology Jamaica is a two-year, in-person program delivered at the Papine Campus. Students engage in a practicum requiring a teaching timetable of twelve hours weekly for twelve weeks in a relevant specialization at either the secondary or tertiary education level. The program is designed for graduates who hold a first degree or equivalent and aims to prepare them for roles in education and training.

The minimum requirements for admission in Graduate Diploma in Education at University of Technology Jamaica for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by University of Technology Jamaica.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by University of Technology Jamaica as pre-requiste for admission in Graduate Diploma in Education.

They should also possess evidence of being able to provide a teaching timetable to meet Practicum requirement of twelve (12) hours weekly for 12 weeks in an appropriate specialization at the secondary or tertiary level.
