Bachelor of Science in Finance and Technology

Bachelor of Science in Finance and Technology is a Bachelor program taught at University of Technology Jamaica, Jamaica. Intake: SeptemberJanuary. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 Years full-time) options.

The Bachelor of Science in Finance and Technology is a four-year undergraduate degree requiring 120 credits. It combines traditional finance topics with emerging FinTech subjects such as data-driven financial modelling, machine learning, financial data mining, and innovations including AI, blockchain, bitcoin, cloud computing, IoT, crowdfunding, and P2P lending. The course begins with foundational modules in the first year, progressing to core business and course-specific modules throughout the remaining years. Students must complete the Bloomberg Market Concept course in the COBAM Bloomberg Lab. The program develops skills for competitive financial and academic careers and prepares graduates for continuous professional development and ethical decision-making in finance and technology.

• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by University of Technology Jamaica as pre-requiste for admission in Bachelor of Science in Finance and Technology.
