博士後期課程
Introduction
博士後期課程 is a PhD program taught at Tohoku University of Art and Design, Japan. Intake: Fall. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4–6 years) options.
The Tohoku University of Art and Design offers a Doctoral Program in the Graduate School. Education connects research, creation, and practice, aiming to develop people who can continue making research over time through a research environment that supports crossing fields and close connections with the region. The graduate school also describes two related specialization directions at the graduate level: Artistic and Cultural studies and Design Engineering.
For doctoral students, the program includes a Graduate School Review event. This event brings together students across all research areas, where they write a resume and deliver intermediate presentations in either an exhibition format or a conference format. The program also highlights training linked to preservation and restoration of cultural heritage, field investigation, hands-on training with real objects, and internships, plus practice-oriented learning connected with regional, corporate, and public partners.
