Bachelor of Education Science

Bachelor of Education Science is a Bachelor program taught at Daystar University, Kenya. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

Admission considers either grade-based qualifications or prior education qualifications, including Diploma in Education pathways and specific subject combinations. The programme includes entry routes using combinations such as Mathematics / Physics, Mathematics / Computer Science, Physics / Chemistry, Physics / Computer Science, Mathematics / Business Studies, and Computer Science / Business Studies.

The minimum requirements for admission in Bachelor of Education Science at Daystar University for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Daystar University.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Daystar University as pre-requiste for admission in Bachelor of Education Science.

Applicants to the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed Science) must fulfil entry requirements that apply to all Daystar undergraduate students, i.e.

• An overall minimum grade of C+ in KCSE or at least 4 credits in IGCSE with at least 2 credit passes at 'A' level/GCE .
• OR Have a Diploma in Education from a recognized institution or its equivalent OR
• Have a Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (A level) with a minimum of two principle passes and a subsidiary or its equivalent OR
• Have a Division III at KCE or EACE with a diploma in Education or equivalent
• Have P1 Certificate with a minimum of a C plain in KCSE
• Combination: Mathematics / Physics; Mathematics / Computer Science; Physics / Chemistry; Physics / Computer Science; Mathematics / Business Studies; Computer Science / Business Studies
