Doctor of Business Administration

Doctor of Business Administration is a PhD program taught at Asia Metropolitan University, Malaysia. Intake: Fall. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4–6 years) options.

The Doctor of Business Administration is a professional doctoral programme for experienced managers, executives, and entrepreneurs. It develops advanced analytical, critical thinking, and research skills to address complex business and organisational challenges through strategic management, organisational leadership, innovation, and global business environments.

The programme integrates academic theory with professional practice and applies rigorous research methods to real-world business problems. It follows a full-time or part-time pathway with a consultation project sequence and dissertation stages, including proposal defence, data analysis, write-up, and viva voce.

The minimum requirements for admission in Doctor of Business Administration at Asia Metropolitan University for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Asia Metropolitan University.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Asia Metropolitan University as pre-requiste for admission in Doctor of Business Administration.

A Master's Degree (Level 7, MQF) in related fields

A Master's Degree (Level 7, MQF) in related fields as accepted by the University Senate; OR

Master's Degree (Level 7, MQF) in non-related fields

A Master’s Degree (Level 7, MQF) in non-related fields as accepted by the University Senate, subject to having relevant working experience and rigorous internal assessment; OR

A Master’s Degree (Level 7, MQF) in non-related fields as accepted by the University Senate and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses; OR

Other qualifications equivalent to a Master’s Degree (Level 7, MQF) recognised by the Malaysian Government

Achieve a minimum of Band 4 in MUET OR equivalent to CEFR (Mid B2); OR IELTS: 6.0; TOEFL iBT: 60; Pearson English Test: 59; Cambridge English Qualifications and Test: 169
