Diploma in Ict It
Introduction
Diploma in Ict It is a 19 November Diploma program taught at Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), Malaysia. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (2+ years) options.
The Diploma in Information & Communication Technology has a specialism in Interactive Technology at Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU). Students study information systems, internet applications, computer architecture, and mathematics and statistics for computing. The programme also covers system analysis and design, programming with Python, operating systems, networking technologies, object oriented programming, and database management.
Teaching includes both technical modules and interactive technology track modules such as responsive web design & development, introduction to VR/AR and metaverse, interactive media and immersive technology options, and games development options. Students complete a capstone project and undertake an internship/industrial training for a minimum of 12 weeks. General Studies modules and Co-Curricular Activities credit requirements are also required.

Admission Requirements
The minimum requirements for admission in Diploma in Ict It at Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:
- program specific academic requirment set by Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU).
- English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) as pre-requiste for admission in Diploma in Ict It.

Admission Requirements
- SPM: 3 Credits in at least 3 subjects at SPM level including Mathematics#, with a minimum of a pass in Bahasa Malaysia and Sejarah (History);
- IGCSE/O-LEVELS: 3 Credits (Grade C & above) in at least 3 subjects at IGCSE/O-LEVELS including Mathematics#;
- UEC: 3 Credits (Grade B & above) in at least 3 subjects in UEC including Mathematics#;
- CERTIFICATE: Pass relevant Certificate Programme or its equivalent;
- Candidates with only a Pass in Maths in SPM/IGCSE/O-Levels or equivalent will be required to complete and pass “Mathematics and Statistics for Computing” in their Semester 1 of Diploma.
A qualification that APU accepts as equivalent to the above.
