Bachelor of Arts Business Management Business Economics is a Bachelor program taught at Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), Malaysia. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (3 years) options.

This Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Business Management with a specialism in Business Economics is designed to build knowledge of management activities and economic thinking. Students study how markets, industries, and economic forces influence business decisions, and they develop solutions for business problems using economic analysis, policy evaluation, and data-driven decision-making.

The programme runs full time and includes Level 1 foundations in management, marketing, law, economics, accounting, and entrepreneurship, plus core modules such as Digital Thinking and Innovation, Quantitative Skills, and Business Economics. Level 2 and Level 3 expand into topics including microeconomics and macroeconomics, business research methods, and strategic management.

Students complete an Internship/Industrial Training for a minimum period of 16 weeks and finish with a Final Year Project, including Applied Business and Managerial Economics and International and Development Economics for Managers.

The minimum requirements for admission in Bachelor of Arts Business Management Business Economics at Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU).
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) as pre-requiste for admission in Bachelor of Arts Business Management Business Economics.

Direct Entry to Level 1 of the Degree

• STPM: 2 Passes in STPM with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.0) and a Pass in English and Mathematics at SPM Level or its equivalent.
• A-Level: 2 Passes (Grade A-D) in A-Level with a Pass in English and Mathematics at SPM/ O-Level/ IGCSE or its equivalent.
• UEC: 5 Grade B’s in UEC with a Pass in Mathematics and English.
• Matriculation/ Foundation: Passed Foundation programme (minimum CGPA of 2.0).

Entry to Level 2 of the Degree

• Diploma: Successful completion of the APU Diploma or Successful completion of studies in another recognised institute with academic credits equivalent to Level 1 of an Honours Degree (Subject to the approval of the APU Academic Board)
• Any qualification that APU accepts as equivalent to the above.

Note: The above entry requirements may differ for specific programmes based on the latest programme standards published by Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). The qualification and entry requirements for the programmes will be determined based on the Comparison List of Equivalency of International Qualifications with SPM (O-Levels equivalent) and STPM (A-Levels equivalent) published by Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
