Diploma in Pastry Arts

Diploma in Pastry Arts is a Diploma program taught at Saito College, Malaysia. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (2.5 Years) options.

The Diploma in Pastry Arts at Saito College is a full-time programme focused on baking and pastry production, from fundamental baking and basic Western cookery to pastry making, bread making and fermented products, and cake and sponges making and decoration. Students also study chocolate, confectionery and sugar arts, Malaysian local pastries and desserts, and continental cakes and desserts.

The programme runs for 2.5 years in six semesters. It includes industrial training and work-based learning through hands-on professional events and industry visitation. Learning is supported by lecturers who train and mentor students in current facilities with equipment, ingredients, and tools.

The minimum requirements for admission in Diploma in Pastry Arts at Saito College for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Saito College.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Saito College as pre-requiste for admission in Diploma in Pastry Arts.

• Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) Certificate or GCE / 'O' Levels certificate or equivalent
• Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)
