Bachelor of Islamic Studies Syariah with Honours

Bachelor of Islamic Studies Syariah with Honours is a Bachelor program taught at Universiti Industri Selangor, Malaysia. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (3 Years 3 Months) options.

The Bachelor of Islamic Studies (Shariah) with Honours at Universiti Industri Selangor focuses on Quran and Hadith knowledge. Students study classical fiqh, fiqh-related methodologies, contemporary fiqh, Halal Management, Islamic Banking and Finance, and Shariah Law in Malaysia. The programme also covers Islamic theology and classical and contemporary Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh).

Teaching and learning include practical teaching experience in real-world contexts. Students develop classroom teaching skills, community engagement through workshops, talks, or public events, and exposure to Islamic legal practices through mock court sessions or internships at Shariah law firms. Students also engage in designing and implementing Islamic education curricula and reflect on teaching experiences. Facilities include modern classrooms, computer labs, and a library with Islamic studies resources.

The minimum requirements for admission in Bachelor of Islamic Studies Syariah with Honours at Universiti Industri Selangor for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Universiti Industri Selangor.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Universiti Industri Selangor as pre-requiste for admission in Bachelor of Islamic Studies Syariah with Honours.

Our program is accessible to a wide range of applicants, with various pathways for admission:

• A Pass in STPM with at least a Grade C (CGPA 2.0) in 2 subjects, one of which must be related to Islamic Studies; OR
• A Pass in STAM with an overall grade of Maqbul; OR
• A Pass in Diploma (Level 4 KKM) in Islamic Studies or an equivalent field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; OR
• A Pass in a Matriculation/Foundation program from any of the four Huffaz Track foundation programs as follows: a) Huffaz Track Foundation in Management; or b) Huffaz Track Foundation in Information Technology; or c) Huffaz Track Foundation in Science; or d) Huffaz Track Foundation in Bachelor of Education (Teaching English as a Second Language) with at least a CGPA of 2.00; OR
• Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Malaysian government, with at least 1 credit in any subject.
