Diploma in Industrial Technology

Diploma in Industrial Technology is a Diploma program taught at Universiti Industri Selangor, Malaysia. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (3 Years) options.

The Diploma in Industrial Technology at Universiti Industri Selangor develops students’ theoretical knowledge and practical skills for industrial and engineering careers. Students study scientific equipment, material properties, and industrial processes, with training in critical thinking, safety practices, and quality management. The course also includes hands-on experience in laboratories, computer literacy, and communication and problem-solving skills.

The curriculum includes subjects across physics and chemistry, engineering drawing and design, instrumentation and electronics, and specialized areas such as non-destructive testing, polymer processing, and industrial robotics. Students are exposed to industrial practices including quality control, safety regulations, and management principles. Soft skills are supported through communication, entrepreneurship, and critical thinking.

The minimum requirements for admission in Diploma in Industrial Technology at Universiti Industri Selangor for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Universiti Industri Selangor.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Universiti Industri Selangor as pre-requiste for admission in Diploma in Industrial Technology.

A Pass in the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) or equivalent, with at least a credit in THREE (3) subjects; OR

A Pass in the UEC with at least a Grade B in THREE (3) subjects; OR

A Pass in O-Level with at least a Grade C in THREE (3) subjects; OR

A Pass in SKM (Level 3) in a relevant field; and Possess an SPM qualification with at least a credit in ONE (1) subject; and undergo a bridging program (if necessary); OR

A Pass in Community College Certificate equivalent to MQF Level 3 in relevant field; and Possess an SPM qualification with at least a credit in ONE (1) subject; and undergo a bridging program (if necessary); OR

A Pass in Certificate (MQF Level 3) in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; OR

Pass the Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) or equivalent with at least a Grade C (NGMP 2.0) in ONE (1) subject; OR

Pass STAM (Maqbul Rank); OR

Other qualifications recognized as equivalent.
