Master of Cyber Security Coursework

Master of Cyber Security Coursework is a Masters program taught at Universiti Malaya, Malaya, Malaysia. Intake: March. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The Master of Cyber Security (Coursework) at Universiti Malaya is for degree holders in Computer Science / Information Technology. Students learn latest trends of cyber security mapped to international certifications, relevant technological developments for Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR4.0), with strong emphasis in networking. The programme includes 10 coursework modules that prepare students for a final capstone project using knowledge from the taught courses in real world applications.

The programme is organised as coursework plus a cyber security research project. It totals 43 credit hours: core courses (25 credits), elective courses (8 credits), and a cyber security research project (10 credits).

Core modules include Research Methodology, Cyber security, Advanced Network Security Programming, Network Technology and Security, Cryptography and Information Hiding, Information Assurance, Advanced Digital Forensics, and Advanced Internet of Thing.

Students choose two elective courses from Advanced Computer Penetration and Defense, Emerging Trends in Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and Wireless Networking and Mobile Computing.

The minimum requirements for admission in Master of Cyber Security Coursework at Universiti Malaya for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Universiti Malaya.
