Bachelor of French Language

Bachelor of French Language is a Bachelor program taught at Universiti Malaya, Malaya, Malaysia. Intake: October. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (7 semesters) options.

The Bachelor of French Language and Linguistics at Universiti Malaya prepares graduates to master language and linguistics, with a focus on French. Students study core courses in faculty and programme areas, then complete a Final Year Project and Industrial Training, with additional credits from university courses and electives to total 125 credits.

The programme is offered full time over 7 semesters. It includes Programme Structure (125 credits): Core Courses (93 credits), University Courses (12 credits), and Elective Courses (20 credits). University courses include Philosophy and Current Issues OR Basic Malay Language, Appreciation of Ethics and Civilisations, Basic Entrepreneurship Culture, Co-curriculum, and English Communication OR Foreign Language Courses.

Career opportunities include roles in media, advertising and publishing, corporate communication, the education industry, translation and interpretation, language or linguistic consulting, tour guiding, and civil service.
