The Universiti Malaya Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) is a coursework-based doctorate degree focused on developing professionals’ higher critical thinking in business and preparing candidates to conduct research. The programme is designed for high-achieving business professionals aiming to advance in the management ladder in public or private sectors.

Candidates complete minimum 81 credit hours through core courses, elective courses, and a dissertation. Teaching takes place through weekend classes from 9.00 am until 6.00 pm. The minimum and maximum periods of candidature are six and twelve semesters, and a full-time DBA programme starts once a year with an October intake.

DBA graduates can pursue executive positions within organizations, run major corporations and international companies, or pursue an academic career at universities and colleges to teach business.

The minimum requirements for admission in Doctor of Business Administration Dba at Universiti Malaya for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:
