BSc Finance & Business Management

BSc Finance & Business Management is a Bachelor program taught at University of Reading Malaysia, Malaysia. Intake: April, September. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (3 years (full-time) / 4 years with optional placement year) options.

The BSc Finance & Business Management at University of Reading Malaysia builds knowledge in finance and business management for careers in business, management, and the financial services industry. The curriculum covers securities and markets, economics for business and finance, quantitative techniques, accounting for managers, finance and trading simulation, and ethics in investment management. Core topics also include corporate finance, portfolio management, and financial modelling, plus marketing essentials.

Teaching is delivered full time. The programme lasts 3 years full-time, with the option to extend to 4 years with an optional placement year in Year 3. Students study management of risk and derivative securities in the final year. Modules include International Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Portfolio Management, Derivatives and Securities, and Management of Risk, with an Islamic Finance module in the final year. Students also have access to financial databases including Osiris and Thomson Reuters Eikon, and a trading simulation system (ICTrader).
