BSc Psychology with Professional Placement

BSc Psychology with Professional Placement is a Bachelor program taught at University of Reading Malaysia, Malaysia. Intake: April, September. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (Standard duration: 4 years, including 1 year work placement) options.

BSc Psychology with Professional Placement covers British Psychological Society (BPS)-aligned study across cognition, neuroscience, development, perception, and research methods. You take modules including The Person and the Brain, Learning about Learning, Introduction to Psychological Research, Debates in Mental Health, and Applied and Professional Psychology, then move to deeper study through Cognitive and Biological Psychology, Development Across the Lifespan, Research Methods in Psychology, and Social Psychology and Individual Differences.

The programme is full time only and includes Professional and Clinical Practice (with work placement). You complete a professional placement involving industry placement experience as a full-time work placement for a minimum of 10 months, plus a final research project and specialist options such as Research Project and Communicating Current Psychology.

This degree supports entry into work in areas such as hospitals and mental health services, schools and special needs centres, human resources and talent development, marketing, sales and consumer insights, social services and NGOs, market research and consultancy, and advertising and media. Graduates may also pursue clinical or professional postgraduate training.

The minimum requirements for admission in BSc Psychology with Professional Placement at University of Reading Malaysia for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:
