Students study topics such as Accounting Information Systems, Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examination, Ethics and Governance (CPA Paper), Financial Reporting (CPA Paper), Strategic Management Accounting (CPA Paper), and Audit and Taxation courses.

The programme includes internships, with an internship for Accounting course. Students complete a total of 145 credits within 4 years for the Bachelor of Accounting programme. The structure also describes a route where, after completing 3 years in the programme, students take the 5 professional papers of CPA Australia; after clearing these papers, they are awarded the UNIRAZAK Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) degree and professional qualification from CPA Australia.

The minimum requirements for admission in Bachelor of Accounting Honours Accredited By Cpa Australia at University Tun Abdul Razak for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by University Tun Abdul Razak as pre-requiste for admission in Bachelor of Accounting Honours Accredited By Cpa Australia.

STPM
A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or its equivalent, with a minimum of Grade C+ (GP 2.33) in two subjects;

STAM
A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Jayyid (good);

Diploma

• A pass in Diploma (Level 4, MQF) with minimum of CGPA of 2.50; OR
• A pass in Matriculation/Foundation qualification or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50; OR
• Diploma in Accounting fields (Level 4, MQF) or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50. Candidates with a CGPA below 2.50 but more than 2.00 may be admitted subject to a thorough rigorous assessment; OR
• Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) in Accounting fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 subjected to UNIRAZAK’s Senate/ Academic Board’s approval; OR
• Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia(DLKM) in Accounting fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 subjected to UNIRAZAK’s Senate / Academic Board’s approval; OR
• Possess an Advanced Diploma (Level 5, MQF) in accounting or related field with a least a CGPA of 2.50; OR
• Other relevant and equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.

AND a credit in:
i. Credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; AND
ii. MUET Band 3.0 or equivalent (OR Credit in English at SPM level).

OTHER
Other relevant or equivalent qualification, experience and requirement accepted by the UNIRAZAK’s Senate/competent authority in Malaysia.
Possess an Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL A) for admission.

Note
Candidates without credit in Mathematics at SPM level and/or without MUET Band 3.0 or equivalent/ without credit in English at SPM level need to take and pass the enhancement Mathematics and/or English subject that equivalent to the SPM level. The enhancement subject must be offered in first semester or before enrolment with conditional offer.

International Applicants
Achieve a minimum of Band 3.5 in MUET or equivalent to CEFR (High B1).
If a student does not meet this requirement, the UNIRAZAK’s Senate must offer English proficiency courses to ensure that the student’s proficiency is sufficient to meet the needs of the programme.

MUET Band 3.5 or equivalent to CEFR (High B1).
