The Master of Business at UOW Malaysia KDU Penang University College (Batu Kawan) is a research-focused program designed to help you improve research skills and make strategic business decisions through a rigorous research process. You develop and structure a research proposal, complete a proposal defence, carry out independent research with supervisor guidance, and document the project and process in a dissertation.

Students take core research work supported by supervision from a research expert, with access to guidance from a potential co-supervisor at a partner university in the UK. The program also includes training in research methodology and analysis methods, plus sessions covering inventive problem solving, project management, scholarship and research funding application, English writing, communication skills, and information research and retrieval.
