Master of Education Special Education Needs

Master of Education Special Education Needs is a Masters program taught at Mandhu College, Maldives. Intake: Feb / Mar / May / Jun / Aug / Sep / Nov / Dec. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (1 academic year) options.

The Master of Education (Special Education Needs) course prepares graduates to develop and implement special education programs for students with special learning needs. It is intended for experienced teachers, school leaders, and educators seeking to advance their knowledge and move into managerial roles. The qualification also provides skills for academic research and material production. The course lasts one academic year, divided into two semesters of 15 weeks each, and is offered both on the main campus and virtually.

The minimum requirements for admission in Master of Education Special Education Needs at Mandhu College for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Mandhu College.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Mandhu College as pre-requiste for admission in Master of Education Special Education Needs.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field OR
• Level 5 qualification in a related field and 3 years of experience OR
• Completion of Mandhu College pre-Master’s Programme.

Alternative criteria include minimum age 25 with related Level 5 or 6 qualification plus relevant experience and completion of MQA approved Pre-Master’s Program.
