Master of Education Course Work

Master of Education Course Work is a Masters program taught at Mandhu College, Maldives. Intake: January / April / July / October. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (1 academic year (15 weeks of study per semester)) options.

The Master of Education by Course Work is designed for teachers and educational professionals who want to update their knowledge and develop skills. The course runs over 2 semesters with two weekly seminars usually held during weekends. Students study educational leadership, theories of learning, curriculum, and philosophy in depth. The course ends with a capstone project allowing students to apply learning and develop research skills to address workplace problems.

The minimum requirements for admission in Master of Education Course Work at Mandhu College for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Mandhu College.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Mandhu College as pre-requiste for admission in Master of Education Course Work.

• A related Bachelor’s Degree
• A related Graduate Diploma at Level 8
• Alternative Criteria:
  • 25 years old, completion of a related Level 5 qualification, and 7 years of relevant experience (3.5 years after Level 5 completion), with completion of an MQA approved Pre-Master’s Program
  • OR 25 years old, completion of a related Level 6 qualification, and 6 years relevant experience (3 years after Level 6 completion), with completion of an MQA approved Pre-Master’s Program
