Bachelor of Education

Bachelor of Education is a Bachelor program taught at Mandhu College, Maldives. Intake: January / April / July / October. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (3 academic year (15 weeks of study per semester)) options.

The Bachelor of Education (Primary and Middle School) program enables students to understand modern psychology, learning theories, educational sociology, and teaching methods. Students explore curriculum organization and assessment, and study a subject area in depth to teach at primary and middle school levels. The program includes educational research methods and practical teaching experience. It focuses on curriculum interpretation and assessment skills, and examines recent changes to the school curriculum for effective classroom implementation.

The minimum requirements for admission in Bachelor of Education at Mandhu College for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Mandhu College.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Mandhu College as pre-requiste for admission in Bachelor of Education.

• Successful completion of Higher Secondary Education OR
• Attainment of a Level 4 qualification in a related field OR
• Attainment of a Level 4 Foundation Study Program approved for the specific Diploma program.
• Alternative criteria: 20 years old with Level 4 qualification (unrelated) and successful completion of an MQA approved University Preparation Program OR 20 years old, completion of secondary school, 2 years of relevant work experience, and successful completion of an MQA approved University Preparation Program.
