Bachelor of Counselling

Bachelor of Counselling is a Bachelor program taught at Mandhu College, Maldives. Intake: January / April / June / September. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (3 years) options.

The Bachelor of Counselling (Human Services) at Mandhu College trains students for professional counselling careers. It covers knowledge and practical skills related to mental health, child abuse, and substance abuse. Students study social theory and psychology and develop counselling techniques through practicums guided by experienced practitioners. The program runs for three years over six semesters and is offered both on campus and virtually.

The minimum requirements for admission in Bachelor of Counselling at Mandhu College for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Mandhu College.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Mandhu College as pre-requiste for admission in Bachelor of Counselling.

• 2 passes at GCE advanced level
• Completion of the Mandhu College Foundation for Degree Studies Programme
• Attainment of a level 4 qualification in a relevant field

Alternative Criteria

• Diploma or level 5 qualification may allow entry into the second year
• Associate Degree or level 6 qualification may allow entry into the third year
