The University of Auckland offers a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Health Sciences conjoint that lets you complete a BCom and a BHSc as part of one programme. It combines core and specialist knowledge in business and focuses on health determinants, health promotion, strengthening how the health system works, health leadership and management.

You study BCom courses plus a BHSc health major chosen from Community Health or Health Systems and Data Analytics. You also complete general education courses. The programme requires a total of 540 points, with 255 points from BCom courses, 255 points from BHSc courses, 15 points of General Education, and 15 points from courses available for any programme. You maintain a Grade Point Average of 3.5 to continue with the conjoint.

Secondary school entry (New Zealand): You must meet the University Entrance (UE) standard. You must also meet the rank score for this programme. You may need to have studied certain subjects or achieved credits in particular subjects. Some programmes have additional requirements, such as an interview, portfolio or references. Guaranteed rank score, subject and other requirements: NCEA score required 210; CIE score required 230; IB score required 28.

Secondary school entry (International): You need to have one of the following: International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum total score of 24; or General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level with a minimum of three A-Level subjects; or Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) with a minimum of three A-level subjects. Minimum requirements listed here are likely grades required and do not guarantee entry.

Transfer from tertiary study: You can transfer from another tertiary institution if you meet these requirements. Minimum grade requirements: GPA 3.9; GPE 3.9. You must have completed one semester of successful bachelor degree study from a New Zealand tertiary institution, or one year of successful study as part of an acceptable sub-degree qualification from a New Zealand tertiary institution.

IELTS Academic score required 6.5. No bands less than 6.0.
