Minors in the Bachelor of Biomedical Science
Introduction
Minors in the Bachelor of Biomedical Science is a Bachelor program taught at Victoria University of Wellington, wellington, New Zealand. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
The Minors in the Bachelor of Biomedical Science are optional additional areas of focus within the BBmedSc degree. All BBmedSc subjects are available as minors. A minor is made up of a collection of courses in a subject, with a lighter workload than a major because it requires fewer courses and fewer points.
BBmedSc minors are made up of at least 60 points from the relevant subject area at 200 level or above. At least 15 of those points must be at 300 level and cannot count towards a major or another minor. Examples of minors include Human Genetics (HGEN), Molecular Pathology (MOLP), and Molecular Pharmacology and Medicinal Chemistry (MPMC), each with required courses and additional 200-level-or-above points.
