Minors in the Bachelor of Commerce
Introduction
Minors in the Bachelor of Commerce is a Bachelor program taught at Victoria University of Wellington, wellington, New Zealand. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
Minors in the Bachelor of Commerce add an optional additional area of focus to a BCom degree. A minor is made up of a collection of courses in a particular subject, and the workload is lighter than a major because it requires fewer courses and fewer points. All major BCom subjects are available as minors, and some subjects are only available as minors.
Each minor is built from at least 60 points from the relevant subject area at 200 level or above, with at least 15 of those points at 300 level. Students complete the required course(s) for the chosen minor and then complete the listed additional courses or points based on that minor’s requirements.
